Hydraulikk – Pneumatikk Foreningen (HPF) joining forces with Norwegian Society of Electric and Automatic control (NFEA)
.
The CETOP member association HPF Norway is pleased to announce that Hydraulikk – Pneumatikk Foreningen (HPF) and Norwegian Society of Electric and Automatic control (NFEA) have joined forces to further strengthen their presence in the industry. With this collaboration HPF Norway and NFEA can combine their expertise and resources to better serve their members and the industry as a whole.
NFEA is a national organization formed in 2018 through the merger of former IFEA and NFA. NFEA is dedicated to promoting competence in automation and electrical subjects through learning, sharing, and networking.
The organization’s long-term goals include building competence, creating a network for businesses and academia, and maintaining visibility within relevant academic environments. NFEA also cooperates with relevant actors to offer activities such as courses, seminars, and conferences. NFEA is the National Member Organization for IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control), IFR (International Federation of Robotics) and SIMS (Scandinavian Simulation Society). The organization also awards the NFEA Prize yearly to promote competence in automation.
By working together, HPF Norway and NFEA are aiming to create more opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the fields of hydraulics and pneumatics along with automation. In NFEA a committee is established for hydraulics/pneumatics.
